Film Project
Playing for Success are applying to the prestigious First Light movies organisation for funding to produce films involving local youngsters and we’ve got the backing of Boro defender Chris Riggott and new signing Kaleb Folan.
First Light is the UK’s leading initiative enabling young people to realise their potential via creative digital film and media projects.
Our last film, Mobile Bullies, has previously been short listed for a national film award but Playing for Success are looking to recruit a team that will help us take home a trophy at next years awards ceremony.
If you’re between 5-19 years old and have a passion for acting, script writing or film production we want to hear from you.
Are you the next Steven Spielberg or Kiera Knightly?
We’re looking for actors, directors, camera and sound engineers, editors and more to help us make a movie. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be part of a winning team then apply for a place on the production crew for our next First Light film project.
We’re also calling on all script writers and story tellers to submit your stories to us. Give us a brief synopsis of your story and if we like it you’ll be shortlisted and we’ll be in contact with you for the full story. We’ll read through the shortlisted stories and decide which one would be the best suited to a cinematic portrayal. At that point we’ll be in touch and invite you to work with professional script writers to enhance and refine your story for the big screen.
If you’d like to be part of this amazing opportunity then follow the links below and fill in an application form. Don’t worry, the form will take only a couple of minutes to fill in!
